IIM CAT 2020 examination to be held as scheduled on November 29, 2020
Indian Institute of Management (IIM ) to held CAT 2020 on November 29, 2020. CAT – Common Aptitude Test is conducted in 156 cities across the country as a qualifying criterion to MBA admissions in Indian Institute of Management across India campuses.
The admit cards for the exam are available on the official website iimcat.ac.in. Expected date for declaration of result is second week of January 2021, after which the counseling process for the admissions will take place.
The two-hourly exam is divided into three sections of Verbal Ability and reading comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Ability.
Guidelines to appear in CAT 2020 :
- CAT 2020 examination date is November 29,2020.
- The examination will be conducted in three slots/ sessions with the timings 8:30 – 10:30 AM,
- The timings for Slot 1 (8:30 to 10:30 am) Slot 2 (12:30 to 2:30 pm) Slot3 (4:30 to 6:30 pm).
- The test duration is 2 hours / 120 minutes.
- Sectioning of the test will be as per section 1:Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Section 2: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Section 3: Quantitative Ability
- 40 minutes will be allotted for answering each of the three sections instead of earlier 60 minutes.
