The inaugural function of the course was attended by Prof T Inaobi Singh, dean, School of Education, Manipur University; Dr Anup Adhikari, exercise physiologist, level 4 anthropometries and criterion photoscopic somatotype rater and Dr Konthoujam Konsana Meitei, ISAK level 2 instructor as presidium members.
The course covered different chapters during the 3 days training including Kinanthropometry, Somatotype, Photoscopic Somatotyping, Anthropometry and Sports Performance, Body Composition, How to calculate body fat% with skinfold callipers, Growth and development, Application anthropometry in different fields like Physiology, Nutrition, Sports, Anthropology, Physical fitness, Talent identification, Similarity and phantom ‘z’ score, Anthropometry for disabled etc with practical part if measuring different skinfold sites and segments with international standard methods and Technical Error Measurements (TEM).
