These courses offer students an opportunity to do a graduate course as well as experience on-the-job training. Currently under the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programs (AEDP), Mizoram University alongside TeamLease Edtech, India’s leading online service provider has developed 3 degree courses and the courses will be rolled out this academic session.

The two new programs offered under Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programs (AEDP) are Apprenticeship Embedded BCOM Degree and Apprenticeship Embedded BBA degree.

These UGC entitled programs aims at providing students with an exposure to the world of work and enabling them to have an on-the-job experience.

Students who will be opting for Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program (AEDP) will get an opportunity for not a onetime apprenticeship in the final year, but across all the three years giving them significant work experience, the data reads.

The course also provides students with an opportunity to receive monthly stipends in the range defined by the Minimum Wages Act.

The eligibility to enrol for the courses is 12th pass from any stream. The enrolments for the new courses are  open till 30th April, 2021.
