The decision was taken in view of surge in covid-19 cases in the country during a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of rising cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19). The meeting was attended by Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, education secretary and other officials.
The board exam for class 12 to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021 are hereby postponed. These exams will be held hereafter. The situation will be reviewed on 1st June, 2021 by the Board and details will be shared subsequently. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations, read an official notification.
CBSE Class 10 result 2021 will be calculated based on objective criterion, which will be set by the board. Also the students who are not satisfied with their CBSE class 10 result will be allowed to appear for the optional exams later ( to be conducted only if the conditions are conducive to hold the exams.), an official notification read.
