University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya, is organising a National Seminar on “Intellectual Property Rights : Current & Emerging Issues.”

A National Seminar on the topic “Intellectual Property Rights: Current & Emerging Issues.” is being organised by University School of Law & Research (USLR), Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship(CIIE), University of Science & Technology (USTM), Meghalaya in association with State Council of Science Technology and Environment, (SCSTE) Govt. of Meghalaya on April 26,2021.

The major objectives of the seminar is :

  • To provide an insight of the emerging issues of IPR and strategy to cope with such issues.
  • To provide the knowledge of enforcing and adjudicating mechanism of IPR.
  • To create an assimilating point of diverse ideas, this in turn would be helpful in generation, protection and efficient management of their intellectual assets.
  • To encourage quality research and development.

 The last date for registration for the seminar is April 25, 2021.

The seminar is going to help the participants in understanding their rights relating to Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Design and GI and enhance competitiveness, creativity and economic growth of India, read the notification.

A certificate of attending the seminar will be provided to all the registered participants.
