Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) cancels Higher Secondary First Year Examinations. Students Promoted to Second Year.
The decision was made keeping in view the devastating situation due to COVID-19 cases in the state.
As per the order issued by AHSEC on May 10, 2021, the first-year examinations of Higher secondary, which were scheduled to be held from May 4, 2021, were earlier postponed are now cancelled.
The Higher Secondary first year students have been promoted to the second year.
“Due to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Higher Secondary First Year Examinations 2021 scheduled to be held from 04/05/2021 which was postponed has now been cancelled and all the students, who have filled up online applications for the same are hereby declared to have been promoted to the HS 2nd year class for the academic session 2021-2022,” the AHSEC notification reads.
