The academy has been conducting various FDPs for upgrading faculty knowledge in emerging areas of in emerging areas of Data Science, Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, 3D Printing and Designing, Artificial Intelligence, AR/VR, Robotics, and Internet of things, the AICTE informed.
The programme is delivered to the participants over a period of 5 days using rich mix of e-content, lectures from industry experts & laboratory experiments.
The ATAL Academy has already conducted 185 offline FDPs in 2019-20 and 948 online FDPs in 2020-21 & trained more than 1 lakh technical faculty members throughout the country in last two years.
For the year 2021-22, the Academy has planned to conduct 971 FDPs in online mode, in view of COVID-19. The calendar for the same shall be launched virtually by the Education Minister on May 17, 2021, 3PM
AICTE Chairman Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Vice Chairman Prof M P Poonia, Member Secretary Prof Rajiv Kumar and Director, ATAL Academies, Dr RK Soni will also be present for the launch event, the AICTE informed.
