CBSE Class 10th results 2.76% scored above 95%

The results are available on the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in and cbsesresults.nic.in

As the examinations were not held, the results of class 10the students are prepared on the basis of alternative assessment.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced the Class 10th results . The pass percentage this year is 99.04 % which is nearly eight percent higher than the previous year’s result percentage, which was 91.46 percent.

The total candidates registered for the examinations was 21,13,767 and the results of 20,97,128 have been released.  Over 16000 students results are under process, which will be declared in due course.

The results of over 36000 private and patrachar candidates have not been declared as they are not being marked through the alternate assessment scheme.

Written examinations will be held for patrachar candidates are scheduled to begin on August 16.

The marks were evaluated by awarding 20 marks to the assessments and 80 marks to various internal tests or exams held throughout the year. The 80 marks were distributed in the breakdown of 10 marks for periodic tests, 30 marks for mid term examinations and 40 marks for pre-board exams.

The Class 10 examinations were scheduled to start on May 04, however due to surge in COVID-19 cases, CBSE decided to cancel the examinations.
