JEE Advanced Exam Day Guidelines & Important Instructions.

IIT Kharagpur has released the JEE Advanced 2021 exam day guidelines at the official website – Link

JEE Advanced Examination Scheduled for October 3,2021. Exam timings are Paper I {1st shift } 9AM to 12 noon and Paper II  {second shift} 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur is conducting the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2021 exam on October 3, 2021.

Candidates, appearing for the examination are advised to carefully read the exam day guidelines.

Guidelines :

  • Candidates should reach the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts.
  • Candidates should wear a mask all the time inside and outside the exam centre. Also, applicants are advised to carry their own bottle of sanitizer as well as their own transparent bottle of water.
  • Candidates will have to sanitize their hands by washing with soap and with hand sanitizer before entry into the JEE Advanced 2021 exam centre.
  • At the time of entry, the invigilators will check the filled in COVID-19 self-declaration (Undertaking) on the admit card, and the body temperature (using Thermo Guns). Also, the staff will guide the candidate to respective labs after scanning the barcode on the admit card.
  • After the start of JEE Advanced 2021 paper 2 exam, candidates have to hand-over the admit card [duly filled and signed COVID-19 self-declaration (Undertaking)] to the invigilator.
  • Students have to mark their attendance in each of the papers by signing in beside their name in the space provided on the roll list.
  • School/College/Institute ID, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Notarized Certificate with photograph) for the examination.
  • Only pens, pencils, drinking water in a transparent bottle, hand sanitizer (up to 50 ml in a transparent bottle), downloaded admit card and an original photo identity card are allowed to be taken inside the examination hall.

JEE Advanced 2021 will be conducted in two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours each.  Candidates are mandate to appear in both the papers.

The  question paper will consist of three separate sections – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Candidates will have the option to select the preferred exam language (English / Hindi) anytime during the examination.

  • The welcome login screen of the CBT will display the photograph of the candidate allotted to that particular computer.
  • Candidate will have to enter the JEE Advanced 2021 roll number as login-id and date of birth as password.
