Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has launched a platform called the “Darpan” an online web portal for Assam Higher Secondary Online Admissions .
AHSEC has started HS admission process from 7th June 2022. Students who have passed HSLC exam this year may apply online through this web portal for first year under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council for the academic session 2022-2023.

Students interested to apply for Higher Secondary 1st year courses in different Institutions including Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC must apply online with the below detailed steps.
- Visit official website of – darpan.ahseconline.gov.in
- Scroll down, click on Important Web Link‘s section.
- Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
- Click on the link “Register a new Account”.
- Enter your personal and educational details.
- Upload a scan copy of passport sized photograph and class 10 mark sheet.
- Choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .
- Click on the link “HS 1st Year Online Admission” and log in.
- Select your choice of course and colleges/ schools . You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission.
- Click on te button “submit “ and take a print of submitted form for future reference .
Important Documents to upload with application form
Applicant are advised to keep the required documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format within maximum size of 1 MB during online application form submission. Documents required :
Recent Passport Size Photograph.
A copy of HSLC/ 10th Marksheet.
A copy of Caste Certificate, if applicable.
A copy of Disability Certificate, if applicable.
TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate, if applicable.
Gap Certificate, if applicable.
