The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced supplementary exam dates for Class 10, 12. The supplementary exams for class 10 will be held on July 17, and the exams for Class 12 will begin from July 17, for which the detailed date sheet will be provided later.
The supplementary exams will be conducted as per the CBSE syllabus for board exams 2023. The dates for admit cards will be declared in due course by CBSE.
The board has asked schools to submit the list of candidates and provided the eligibility criteria, fee structure, process of applying, and subjects for which exams will be held.
Schools will require to submit the list of candidates through the Pariksha Sangam link. “Only those students whose name is submitted through the online process shall be allowed to appear for supplementary examinations, 2023,” an official notification stated.
Students will get only three chances to pass CBSE supplementary exams. “Students who appeared in session 2021-22 in full subjects either as regular students through schools affiliated to the board or as private students, and their result was declared as “compartment” and they could also not pass in compartment 2022 exams (1st chance) and 2023 examinations (2nd chance), all such students are eligible to apply only as private students for 3rd and last chance in supplementary examinations 2023,” the notification notice reads.
