The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has released the state merit list of Assam medical and dental admission.

The merit list mentions the name of the students, who have secured minimum cutoff percentile in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)

The aspirants are now eligible to participate in the Assam MBBS/BDS counselling 2021, which will be conducted in the online mode.

A total of 900 MBBS and 40 BDS will be granted under 85% states quota. While the counselling for the rest 15% of All India Quota seats will be conducted by Medical Counselling Committee i.e. MCC.

NEET 2021 Assam Merit List. Below are the simple steps to download the Assam MBBS merit list 2021.

1. Visit the official website www.dme.assam.gov.in
2. Under the section ‘Latest’ , click on admission notices and orders.
3. Click on the “NEET UG 2021-Assam State Merit List”
4. Search your name and roll number and save the PDF for future reference.

The authorities will now release the schedule for  the Assam MBBS and BDS counselling 2021. The counselling session will be conducted in a total of two rounds for admission in six medical and one dental college of Assam.

 In order to participate in the Assam NEET counselling 2021, eligible aspirants will have to fill the application form and choice of course & colleges. 

The seats will be allotted to the medical and dental colleges of Assam on the basis of choices filled by the candidates in the counselling session, NEET 2021 rank and seat availability.

Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to the given college before the last date mentioned.
